Harry Kane sends three-word message to Spurs fans after win over Pacos
Harry Kane has taken to Twitter with a message for the Spurs fanbase following Thursday night’s Europa Conference League playoff victory.
On Wednesday, the Tottenham talisman confirmed he’d be staying put at the north London club.
Kane put an end to speculation on his future amid links with a move to Manchester City.
On Thursday, Nuno Espirito Santo named the 28-year-old in his starting XI to take on Pacos de Ferreira.
Kane delivered at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – and then some.
The England captain scored a brace to help Spurs overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit en route to a 3-1 aggregate win.
He opened the scoring after just nine minutes, rifling home following a superb pass from Bryan Gil.
Kane then doubled Tottenham’s lead and turned the tie around when he slammed a low drive into the corner shortly before the break.
And Giovani Lo Celso helped get the game’s final goal to make it 3-0 as he forced an own goal from Vitorino Antunes.
Following the game, Kane shared the following message for the Spurs fanbase on Twitter:
Spurs are back in Premier League action on Sunday, when they take on Watford in a 2pm kickoff at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
