Owen Hargreaves has told Premier League Productions that Harry Kane and Son Heung-min will rediscover their goal threat under Antonio Conte.
Tottenham have brought in Conte as a replacement for Nuno Espirito Santo on Tuesday, with the Italian gaffer overseeing training later on that day.
The ex-Chelsea and Inter Milan boss is set to be in the dugout for Thursday’s Europa Conference League outing against Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.
It comes after a dismal showing against Manchester United, in which Spurs failed a single shot on target – despite boasting Kane, Son and more.

Hargreaves told PLP that he believes under the guidance of Conte, Son and Kane will score a “ton of goals” due to Conte increasing midfield creativity.
“Look what he did with Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, Harry Kane should be excited, Son and Kane are going to score a ton of goals under Conte.
“They need more service, but they are proven goalscorers – Conte is a defensive manager, but his sides are lethal on the counter.”
Hargreaves on Son and Kane: Conte will improve Tottenham tactically

Much has been said about the aura of Conte, and how he will get Tottenham’s players running again. They sit bottom in distance covered.
That will certainly change, and if any players do not adhere to Conte’s desired work rate – they will find themselves out of the side, on the bench.
However, what Conte will also to bring to Tottenham is much-improved tactical awareness. Nuno failed to work out a system in his four months.
But Conte will do so before a ball is even kicked. He has the solutions when so many do not – and he certainly will get the best out of Kane and Son.
