Leeds put in a superb performance at Manchester City today to take a well earned wins as Stuart Dallas’ goals proved enough for a share of the spoils.

The Whites were simply brilliant throughout and defended doggedly as they were reduced to ten men when Liam Cooper saw red just before half-time, prompting a change in tactics.

City pushed and probed throughout the second 45 but the Leeds players defended superbly, sat in, and won it late on when the Northern Ireland international fired in on the counter to win the game.

Any number of Leeds stars could have been singled out today. Stuart Dallas was the obvious choice but it was the performance of Kalvin Phillips in the midfield which drew plenty of attention from Leeds fans on Twitter.

The England international was brilliant in protecting his back four and showed his class. Twitter, then, was full of comments praising the Leeds midfielder, who cemented himself as a top Premier League midfielder this afternoon you feel.
