Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club announced that Owen Otasowie had joined Club Brugge on a permanent basis.
What’s the story?
Well, it sounds as if some sections of the Molineux faithful aren’t too happy about this news.
Otasowie was one of the brightest prospects at Wolves, but sadly, things just haven’t worked out for him in the Midlands.
As the Express and Star claim, the 20-year-old rejected a contract offer from the club, which left Bruno Lage in a difficult situation.
The 1-cap USA international’s existing terms would’ve expired in 2022.
As a result, the decision was taken to offload the attacker, despite his vast potential.
Wolves’ Owen Otasowie announcement isn’t all bad news

Wolves Technical Director Scott Sellars confirmed in the club’s announcement that Otasowie was sold a in a multi-million pound deal.
For a player with only six Premier League appearances to his name, and also with just a year on his contract, that’s a great deal.
It’ll hardly allow him to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Molineux, although those funds – and the extra space on the wage bill – could help Lage in the market.

If he does plan to make any more additions, he doesn’t have long with just over ten days until the transfer window ends.
For now, let’s see what the Wolves fans on Twitter have been saying about the club’s announcement…
