Idrissa Gueye will remain at Goodison Park until the end of the season at least.
The midfielder was the subject of intense interest from Paris Saint-Germain throughout January.
The 2016 signing from Aston Villa was coveted by the French champions after they missed out on Frenkiede Jong, who will join Barcelona at the end of the season.

PSG saw an improved bid of £26.2 million rejected by Everton (BBC Sport) and the Toffees were able to get through deadline day without any real hassle in the end.
Gueye had supposedly wanted the move, with Sky Sports reporting earlier in the week that he actually handed in a transfer request.
Failed move could see Gueye dazzle
If PSG really is Gueye’s ‘dream’ switch, then the fact that he didn’t get his move in January could light a fire under him going forwards.
Marco Silva has already suggested the Senegal international is ready to knuckle down.
He said in his news conference, as quoted by The Evening Telegraph: “I know Idrissa very well, he is a good professional and a fantastic boy. He really likes our club, he is enjoying playing in our club.

“When a club like PSG comes in it is normal he starts to think about his future but now he has stopped, the market is closed and I don’t have doubts we will see the best Idrissa Gana again.”
Gueye is a hardworking, industrious player anyway. But if he has set himself a goal of playing for PSG, then his determination could see him hit new heights from now until the end of the season.
There’s a good chance he will try to raise his game which will only benefit Everton and help them to finish the season strongly.
