Everton midfielder Idriss Gana Gueye has vowed to repay the faith Everton have shown him by shining for the remainder of the season.
The Senegalese dynamo almost left the club in January, with Paris Saint-Germain having reportedly made a number of bids to sign the player.
Sky Sports reported that the Toffees rebuffed a £26.2 million offer to keep hold of their star.

Gueye has admitted to being ‘disappointed’ at not getting his move, but his ensuing performances since then have been impressive.
And fans won’t have to worry about his attitude changing, as the player is keen to repay the faith the club showed him by signing him in 2016.
‘I owe everything to this club’
Amid ongoing speculation linking him to PSG, Gueye said in a recent interview with Late Football Club, as translated by The Daily Post: “It’s really not in my nature to make a scene and clash with the board knowing they’ve done everything for me, that they’ve already been correct with me. They allowed me to stay in the Premier League after Aston Villa got relegated.
“I owe everything to this club and will continue to give everything for the club as long as I’m there.”

PSG signed Leandro Paredes in January, but there is feeling they will return for Gueye in the summer, with Adrien Rabiot free to leave on the expiration of his contract.
It is supposedly the star’s dream to play for the French champions, and Gueye’s continued form since his switch to Goodison Park makes it difficult to see how they can stand in his way if a suitable offer comes in.
