Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty is the subject of much discussion in the January transfer window.
Last summer, Steven Gerrard decided that the young midfielder was not in his immediate plans and loaned him out to League One side Shrewsbury Town.
But his time in England has been very successful, as shown by his impressive tally of seven goals and seven assists this season.
Docherty was supposed to spend the season out on loan at Shrewsbury but unsurprisingly, there have been whispers among fans about a potential recall.
Moreover, Docherty is now attracting Championship interest with Rotherham United and Hull City linked, according to journalist Tom Carnduff.
Rangers have four choices: leave him at Shrewsbury, send him on loan to a higher division, recall him or sell him.

The 22-year-old’s impressive displays in midfield should convince Gerrard to avoid the last option as he can still play a future role at Ibrox.
But Rangers should be watching Docherty’s performance tonight with intrigue, before weighing up the best option.
Shrewsbury face Stoke City in an FA Cup replay this evening with Docherty needing to play a big role against the Championship opposition.
If the Scotland under-21 midfielder can hold his own against a talented Stoke midfield, then perhaps Rangers should consider bringing him back or testing him in the Championship.
The benefit of moving him up a division is that he would be better prepared for his return next summer but if he fails to impress, keeping him in League One might be better for his long-term future.
