Greg Docherty reacts on Instagram after sealing Rangers exit; Davis and Allan reply
Greg Docherty has sent an emotional message to the Rangers fans on Instagram after completing his move away from Ibrox on Thursday.
It was confirmed earlier in the day that the midfielder has joined Hull City. Sky Sports reports that the League One side have paid the Gers £400,000 plus add-ons for the 23-year-old.

It was a move that had looked to be on the cards for some time. Docherty had struggled to force his way into Steven Gerrard’s plans at Rangers.
Many would have been surprised to see Docherty not get much of a chance following an inspired loan spell at Shrewsbury. However, he went into the most recent January transfer window having not played for Rangers since August.

He impressed once again after leaving temporarily. But his time at Hibernian also seemed to do little for his place in the pecking order.
And the writing looked to be on the wall as Docherty failed to feature in any of the Gers’ opening games at the start of this season.
It will have disappointed a lot of supporters that Docherty has moved on. And, judging by one of his latest Instagram posts, the youngster has also been left with mixed emotions.
He suggested that he was incredibly proud to have played for Rangers. And he sent a message to the supporters, promising to return alongside them at some stage in the future.

And amongst those to reply were the likes of Steven Davis and Scott Allan, who have played alongside the former Hamilton man at various times in recent years…
