Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura has admitted to Stats Perform that he thinks Arsenal man Gabriel Jesus is brilliant.
Spurs and Arsenal are set to face off in the first north London derby of the season on Saturday at the Emirates.
Both sides are going into the game in brilliant form, with Mikel Arteta’s men sitting top of the Premier League and Antonio Conte’s side just a point behind.
Jesus has hit the ground running at Arsenal and already bagged four goals in seven games for the Gunners. And now Moura has admitted that the 25-year-old has ‘great quality’ ahead of Saturday’s clash.

Moura admits Jesus is brilliant
He said: “The kid started to score and doesn’t stop. First on the personal side, on the friendship side, I’m very happy for him. He is a very deserving boy, of great quality.
“He left a big club and went to Arsenal, and he’s doing very well there. The whole team is doing very well. Arsenal has been playing very well. Without a doubt, it will be a very good match for the fans to watch.”
Moura hasn’t played for Spurs since coming on as a late substitute against Chelsea back in August. But Jesus has been firing for Arsenal and propelled them to the top of the league.

And Moura thinks it’s set to be a close encounter on Saturday. But has backed Spurs to compete for the three points.
“It’s going to be a very interesting game and we have to prepare well. It’s a direct fight, against a rival, so it’s going to be a tough game,” Moura added.
“Even more so at their stadium. But I think we have the quality to get there and fight for the three points.
“It’s the kind of match that every player likes to play, every fan likes to watch, full of Brazilians on the pitch, and we’ll see what happens.”
Jesus has made a huge impact on the Gunners side already and improved the attacking quality up-front. Last season, Alexandre Lacazette failed to provide Arteta’s men with regular goals and Eddie Nketiah is still unproven at Premier League level.
It’s set to be a fierce encounter on Saturday. The game will provide a good indication of where both north London clubs are in terms of fighting at the top-end of the table.
