‘Great news’, ‘Wonderful’: Arsenal fans react as Martin Odegaard appears for Norway

Arsenal fans were breathing a sigh of relief last night as pictures emerged from Norway’s training camp suggesting Martin Odegaard was over his injury.

Odegaard suffered a ankle injury in the opening international in midweek, sparking fears the Gunners might have lost one of their most valuable assets during the break.

However, pictures emerging on Twitter, published by Norwegian journalist Arilas Ouid-Saada, suggested that Odegaard was all fine and could well be looking to take part in Norway’s next game.

Of course, this is encouraging news for Arsenal and their supporters and as expected, there were plenty of Gunners on hand in the comments showing their delight at the images.

Odegaard has become integral for Mikel Arteta in recent weeks. After signing from Real Madrid, Odegaard has seemingly solved the Gunners’ issue of not having a creative number ten in the ranks.
