Tottenham have today allowed young forward, Kazaiah Sterling, to join Southend United on a loan deal until January.

The 21-year-old signs a deal at Roots Hall in the hope of getting some first-team football under his belt, something which is not going to be coming his way under Jose Mourinho as things stand.

Sterling, who has had previous spells with Doncaster and Leyton Orient, will hope to impress and try and earn himself either the approval of Mourinho, or put himself in the shop window for a January move.

Spurs fans, then, have been all over Twitter sending their well-wishes and thoughts in the direction of Sterling.

It seems that plenty of Tottenham supporters want the youngster to succeed, while there was also an element of surprise from some fans that he was even still at the club!
