Liverpool have announced the loan departure of Kamil Grabara. Huddersfield Town have signed Grabara on loan for the 2019/20 season.
Grabara will get a taste of first-team action as he teams up with the recently-relegated Terriers. Jan Siewert’s men are set for another Championship campaign after finishing bottom of the Premier League.
Huddersfield lost their goalkeeper earlier this summer. Jonas Lossl departed on a free transfer and has since teamed up with Everton. But Huddersfield’s search for a new stopper has reached its conclusion.
Grabara will provide a short-term solution for Siewert between the sticks. During Huddersfield’s last Championship season, then-Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward starred for the club to inspire them to promotion.

Huddersfield have now gone back to Liverpool for another goalkeeper on loan. Grabara, who was recently at the U21 Euros with Poland, will be their goalkeeper for next season.
But before he left Liverpool for his temporary stint, the 20-year-old signed a new long-term contract. Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool both rate Grabara highly and he has committed his long-term future to the Merseyside club.
Here are some tweets from Liverpool fans reacting to Grabara’s new deal and loan exit.
