‘Great footballer’, ‘level up’: Some Arsenal fans react to 21-year-old loanee’s training video
A number of Arsenal fans have wished Matteo Guendouzi well after the Gunners loanee shared footage of his first training session with Hertha Berlin on social media.
The 21-year-old will spend the 2020-21 season with the Bundesliga side, with Football London reporting that they’ll be covering his wages for the duration of the loan spell.
Guendouzi joined Arsenal in 2018 from French outfit Lorient, the Gunners reportedly paying £7million for his services, and he has clocked up 82 competitive club appearances to date.

However, he was frozen out at the Emirates Stadium in wake of an incident with Brighton striker Neal Maupay towards the end of their Premier League clash in June.
Guendouzi made the move on transfer deadline day, after which he linked up with the France Under-21 squad for games against the U21s of Liechtenstein and Slovakia.
He was expected to be handed his first start earlier this month but was forced to self-isolate after coming back from international duty.
Guendouzi finally returned to training on Tuesday of this week and, on Wednesday, the youngster shared footage of his first training session on his personal Twitter account.
