Giles, who is contracted to Wolves until 2025, has one senior competitive appearance in old gold to his name, his debut coming in the FA Cup tie with Shrewsbury in January 2019.
The former England Under-20 international, who can play on several positions on the left-hand side, has also spent time on loan with the Shrews.
“He’s a player that we’ve liked for a couple of years and I’ve unsuccessfully tried to sign him before, but we’ve finally convinced him to come,” Rotherham boss Paul Warne told the club website.
Fans of Rotherham, Coventry and Shrewsbury have all spoken about Giles’ latest loan move on social media and the general consensus is of a talented young player with plenty of potential.
