'Great composure': Everton-linked 'star man' gets 8/10 rating after 'excellent' Friday display
Wales took on the Czech Republic in Prague last night and Aaron Ramsey, who is reportedly a January target for Everton, was the best player on the pitch.
Ramsey captained the side in Gareth Bale’s absence and he led from the front. The former Arsenal man scored the opener and was outstanding all game.
He was the undisputed man of the match, even though Wales couldn’t get the win.
Aaron Ramsey labelled ‘star man’ after Wales display
Wales Online released their player ratings following the game last night and Ramsey was given 8/10 – higher than any other player on the pitch. They also labelled him the ‘star man’ in their article.
They wrote: “The skipper was booked within seconds of kick-off which hampered his enthusiasm in the tackle, but as ever the Juventus man was Wales’ creative fulcrum.
“Such great composure for his goal. Excellent all night.”
Should Everton sign Ramsey?
Calcio Mercato revealed this week that Juventus have opened talks with Everton over a swap deal that would see Allan head to Turin and Ramsey return to the Premier League.
The report hinted that the Toffees might be interested in the Welshman’s services as well. Ramsey has proven his quality in the Premier League already and if he can stay fit, he would be a sensational signing for the Toffees.
However, if signing the former Arsenal man means they’ve to lose Allan, who has been brilliant for them since the start of last season, Rafa Benitez and co shouldn’t even consider it.
