‘Grealish said something like that’: Some Man City fans react as £60m target comments on rumours

Reported Manchester City target Theo Hernandez has publicly admitted that he’s happy with life in AC Milan.

Speaking to Telefoot via MilanLive, the 23-year-old left-back revealed that he is enjoying life in Italy. The French international has inspirations of winning the Scudetto with Milan.

Hernandez has been linked with City in recent weeks. Reports via GIFN suggest that Milan would be open to selling the defender for a massive offer of €70m (£60m).

The defender said when asked about recent rumours: “I am very happy at Milan. From day one it was an incredible emotion to wear this shirt and every day I am proud of it.”

Indeed, left-back has been a problem area at City for some time, with right-back Joao Cancelo currently Pep Guardiola’s number one pick for the position.

The club have chased the likes of Ben Chilwell and Nuno Mendes in recent years, but City look keen to sign Hernandez before a rival club beats them to the punch.

And on social media, supporters don’t believe what Hernandez had to say about staying with Milan. The likes of Jack Grealish and Romelu Lukaku saying similar words before making huge summer transfers this year.
