Some Aston Villa were reacting after the Jack Grealish was linked with a £100m move to Manchester City.
According to talkSPORT, the Citizens are close to completing a £100m transfer for the England international. The publication have claimed that the deal is ‘as good as done’ and should be completed after Euro 2020.
Born in Birmingham, the Englishman is a boyhood Villa fan. Grealish started his career off with the Midlanders, joining the academy at the age of six.
He’s progressed through the ranks and was named club captain back in 2019. However, after 213 appearances across all competitions, it may well be time to say goodbye.

TBR View: Aston Villa faithful must not begrudge Grealish amid reports of £100m move
Amid reports the playmaker could move for £100m, the Aston Villa fans must not begrudge Grealish.
He has been a wonderful servant to the club and a transfer to the likes of City is purely for the desire of winning trophies.
Unfortunately, the Villains will never be able to offer him the chance to win major trophies. It’s through a lack of trying, however.
With the likes of the big six and Leicester City ahead of Villa in terms of attracting players and finances, they’ll always struggle in the Premier League.
