Tottenham cruised to a comprehensive win against Aston Villa this evening and former player, Graham Roberts, has been straight on Twitter celebrating.

Roberts is known for his comments on all things Tottenham on the social media platform, both negative and positive. But tonight he is full of only positive comments towards Antonio Conte’s side.

A stunning hat-trick from Heung-Min Son, as well as another goal for Dejan Kulusevski ensured Spurs had too much for Villa during the second half tonight. And Roberts, while lauding the duo of Kane and Son like so many have, felt a few others deserved a mention too.

Taking to Twitter, Roberts picked out the trio of Kulusevski, Romero, and Bentancur for praise as well as Kane and Son.

Son has now scored the most non penalty goals all season ahead of Mo Salah in the Premier League. The South Korean, aided by the brilliant Harry Kane behind him, is in the form of his life.

Antonio Conte hasn’t half got this team going and the players Roberts has picked out here all deserve a mention.

The two January signings have been exceptional, while Romero has been one of the best defenders in the league since his arrival. Then at the top of the pitch, there is not much else you can say about Kane and Son.

Tottenham look a real threat now and even today, they battled hard in a tough first half before taking the game away from Villa in the second 45.
