Graham Roberts took to Twitter following Tottenham Hotspur’s win on Sunday to label Japhet Tanganga an absolute superstar, while he also claimed that Toby Alderweireld looked to be back to his best.
Jose Mourinho secured arguably the most significant win since his appointment at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.

Steven Bergwijn bagged a stunning goal on his debut. And Son Heung-min added another as Spurs beat Manchester City 2-0 to hand their top four hopes a major boost.
It was a remarkable game that saw Pep Guardiola’s side statistically come out on top in most areas – except the most important one.

It looks to be a major breakthrough for Mourinho after a promising start to life at Tottenham.
And while a number of players deserve plaudits, Roberts seemed to have particular praise for two members of Mourinho’s side on social media…
Getting Alderweireld back to his best is a huge achievement for Mourinho. There is no question that the Belgian is one of the best defenders in the Premier League when he is playing well.
He was a colossus against Manchester City. He made a goalline clearance to deny Sergio Aguero, and was rarely beaten.
Meanwhile, Tanganga’s stock continues to rise with every performance.
Whoscored.com shows that Serge Aurier was the only player on the pitch to win more tackles than the 20-year-old. Meanwhile, no Spurs player won more aerial duels than the youngster.
It is remarkable to think that Tanganga is not even a left-back. It now seems even more baffling that he had not made his Premier League debut before the turn of the year.
