Graham Roberts has urged Tottenham star Dele Alli to “keep it going” after he reached his 200th senior appearance for the club at the weekend.
The attacking midfielder reached the milestone in the 2-1 away victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League and has been a key player for Spurs since he joined from MK Dons in 2015.
He’s scored 59 goals and supplied 52 assists for the North London club, which highlights what an influential player he’s been in the final third.
The England international took to social media to express his delight with his personal achievement.
“Delighted to have made my 200th appearance for Spurs. Feels like yesterday I made my debut. It’s been an unbelievable journey so far, full of ups and downs but wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Thank you all for your continued support,” Alli wrote on his personal Twitter account.
Ex-Spurs defender Roberts responded by praising Alli for his contribution and wants him to keep pushing on.
“Well done Dele Alli you have been amazing for our club keep it going,” Roberts wrote on his personal Twitter account.

TBR’s View:
Alli has already achieved so much during his time in a Spurs shirt and the best thing is that his peak years should still be ahead of him.
The 23-year-old has found a new burst of life since the arrival of manager Jose Mourinho midway through the season and he appears to have encouraged him to push further forward into more goalscoring areas.
He burst onto the scene in the Premier League with relative ease when he first joined Spurs and hasn’t looked back since.
Alli was a key part of the Mauricio Pochettino reign at Spurs and it looks like he’s central to the plans of Mourinho too moving forward.
