Graham Roberts delighted with Gareth Bale and Dele Alli in Spurs win
Tottenham Hotspur ran out 4-1 winners in the Europa League this evening as Gareth Bale and Dele Alli helped Jose Mourinho’s men to victory.
Bale was on the scoresheet himself after providing the assist for the opener for Heung-Min Son, while Lucas Moura and then Carlos Vinicius both netted to ensure a comfortable night.
Jose Mourinho opted not to include Harry Kane, with the likes of Bale and Dele given the nod from start. And both impressed, something that former player Graham Roberts was keen to point out on Twitter following the game.

Mourinho will have been delighted to see the impact from both Dele and Bale. The international duo have both suffered poor seasons by their own standards but, in fairness, produced tonight.
Bale, in particular, looked in the mood to impress. And while the opposition wasn’t the best, sometimes a result and performance such as this can give both team and player a huge boost.
TBR View: Bale and Alli looked good, which is great for Spurs
If ever there was a time for Bale and Alli to impress then it was now. A game against opposition who could be got at, it was little surprise to see Dele and Bale both excel.
Alli will have been pleased to simply get some minutes, while Bale will be delighted to see the ball hit the back of the net.
Hopefully, for Spurs fans anyway, this is a sign of things to come in the coming weeks.
