Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah has been praised by Brighton boss Graham Potter ahead of their Premier League trip to Anfield on Saturday.

The Liverpool forward has been sensational for most of his time at Anfield, but this season he’s been reaching Ballon d’Or candidate levels.

Salah has claimed a staggering 15 goals and five assists from just 12 Reds games in all competitions.

The 29-year-old has delivered in big games too, against the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United.

Salah’s hat-trick in Liverpool’s weekend win saw him score for the 10th successive match in all competitions.

On Saturday, Potter will take his side to Anfield hoping to mastermind another shock win.

Brighton beat Liverpool 1-0 in February, which broke the Reds’ long unbeaten home record in the Premier League spanning 68 matches.

That said, Potter knows his team faces a tough task to repeat that feat when they return to Anfield.

And he admits he’s unsure about how to stop Salah from picking his defence apart.

Asked how to stop the Liverpool star, Potter is quoted by The Independent as saying: “That’s a very good question.

“At the moment he’s not world class, he out-of-this-world class!

“He is producing in all the big games too – Chelsea, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United.

“But, unfortunately for us, it’s not just him who is a top, top player for Liverpool. It’s a team.

“These top teams have wonderful individual players but they are also a unit and a team and we must try to deal with that.”
