According to the Daily Mirror this week, Conte is keen on PSG midfielder Marco Verratti as the club start to listen to offers for Cesc Fabregas. Verratti has established himself as one of the top midfielders in Europe, and would give Chelsea’s midfield a little more craft without sacrificing any aggression or work rate, Unlike many Italian players, he has already shown a willingness to move abroad so there could be something to this. Things rarely work out as neatly, but Paris might be a good destination for Fabregas too.
