Leeds United picked up a crucial point against Middlesbrough at the weekend. It was yet another late show from Marcelo Bielsa’s men. Kalvin Phillips scored deep into stoppage time to earn a point for the West Yorkshire side.
Undoubtedly, this is a trait that Leeds fans have gotten used to this season. Leeds have left it late on a number of occasions. Who can forget the back-to-back barnstormers against Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers at the end of 2018?

It was a statistic highlighted by former Leeds player Tony Dorigo. The Australian, who spent six years at Elland Road in the 1990s, took to Twitter this afternoon where he pointed out the fact Leeds have earned more points than any other Championship team from a losing position.
When it came to suggesting what qualities that showed in the Leeds team, he had some choice words.
Leeds have certainly shown a never-say-die attitude under Bielsa that was never present under the likes Paul Heckingbottom, Thomas Christiansen or even Garry Monk.
It leaves opposing teams never comfortable with a one-goal lead or a tied result until the full-time whistle has blown. Leeds United simply do not accept defeat this season. That could easily be a trait that takes Leeds to their promotion goal.
