Arsenal midfielder has taken to Twitter to express his joy at getting back into action with the Gunners this week.
Arsenal played Charlton Athletic in a behind closed doors friendly match this weekend, as the North London side looked to build up some match sharpness ahead of the Premier League restart.
The Gunners won the game 6-0, with Eddie Nketiah scoring a hat-trick, as Mikel Arteta gears up for Arsenal’s return to action against former employers Manchester City.
Ceballos was clearly happy to be back in action. He took to his Twitter account to let fans know they are still missed but that he was happy to be back playing football at The Emirates.
Of course, for Ceballos, the rest of the season could have a major impact on his future.
The 23-year-old had only just forced his way back into the Arsenal starting XI after injury trouble before the lockdown was declared. He performed well in wins against Newcastle United, Everton and West Ham United.
Before that, his loan move from Real Madrid had been slightly disappointing, largely due to that injury absence.

It seems that Ceballos might have a lot to do before Arsenal decide to bring him in permanently this summer.
The Mirror have reported that Real Madrid would be open to selling Ceballos permanently for £36 million, a fee that will undoubtedly need to come down for Arsenal to make a move.
But Ceballos will be hoping to continue his resurgence when football gets back underway.
