Djed Spence really impressed Tottenham Hotspur coaches with his passing in training yesterday – earning high praise in the process.
Antonio Conte was back on the training pitches at Hotspur Way yesterday as he put the players who didn’t go to the World Cup through their paces.
Some important players have remained in north London, including the likes of Dejan Kulusevski, Clement Lenglet, Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal.
Spence was amongst the group yesterday and the youngster will probably be looking at this period as a good chance to show Conte what he is capable of.
And the 22-year-old managed to impress Tottenham coaches with his passing during one training exercise.

What Spence did in Tottenham training
The Spurs squad can be spotted being put through their paces in north London on the club’s official YouTube channel yesterday.
The players were split into two groups during the session and took part in a passing exercise, with two players trying to win the ball back in the middle of the circle.
Spence played a brilliant pass between Yves Bissouma and Oliver Skipp, after tricking the pair into thinking he was going to play the ball in the opposite direction.
And the moment led to some praise from a Tottenham coach, who shouted: “Good!”

Spence has endured a difficult start to his Tottenham career and has barely been used by Conte so far.
The former Nottingham Forest man has only made three substitute appearances in the Premier League, with all of them coming in the final moments of games.
The youngster did get 25 minutes under his belt against his old side Forest but was back amongst the substitutes just days later against Leeds United.
Spence will be hoping he can benefit from working with Conte during the World Cup and try to force his way into the side after Christmas.
