A number of Leeds United fans have given their thoughts on the report claiming Glasgow Rangers winger Ryan Kent and his representatives have told Whites director Victor Orta that they’re not interested in a move to Elland Road this summer.
On 21 August, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard told BBC Sport that Leeds had contacted them over Kent, but said their opening bid was “strongly rejected” and sought to make it clear he is “not for sale”.

The following day, the Scottish Sun claimed that the Elland Road side, newly promoted to the Premier League, was not ready to give up the fight for the talented attacker, and was prepared to increase his offer to £14million.
Since then, speculation linking Kent with Leeds has petered out somewhat, with the Whites now reportedly looking at the likes of Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul and Dinamo Zagreb’s Josko Gvardiol.
On Friday, Leeds Live went on to report that the 23-year-old neither hopes nor expects to leave Rangers in this transfer window.
The outlet also claimed that, at some point in the past week, Kent and his representatives have made it clear to Orta that the player would not currently be receptive to a switch south of the border.
With Leeds having reportedly switched their attentions to the likes of Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul and Dinamo Zagreb’s Josko Gvardiol, it looks like the Kent saga has now come to an end for this summer.
