A number of Arsenal fans have been commenting on Twitter about the report linking the Gunners to Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Arsenal contract expiring next summer and Alexandre Lacazette’s Gunners future also uncertain, the Emirates Stadium side could well be on the lookout for new forwards ahead of next season.
L’Equipe reported earlier this week that Arsenal have joined the race to sign Ben Yedder, who has been impressing since moving to Monaco from Sevilla last summer and is also believed to be on the radar of several other elite teams.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Valencia are just some of the other clubs who have been linked with the prolific Frenchman.
Despite only signing for Monaco last summer, and having a contract until 2024, the report from France suggests that would be available for around £40million, mostly due to his age (29).
Since making the €40million (£35million) move to the principality, Ben Yedder has scored 18 Ligue 1 goals in just 26 appearances, having previously hit 70 goals in 138 games for Sevilla as well as 71 goals in 174 outings for Toulouse.
But what has the Arsenal fanbase made of the rumours? Below is some of the social media reaction:
