A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter urging Steven Gerrard to bring Vaclav Hladky to Ibrox.
On Monday, former Light Blues goalkeeper Jak Alnwick agreed a two-year deal with St Mirren, the club Hladky has just left.
Hladky was heavily linked with Ibrox during the January transfer window (Scottish Sun) and again last month.
Rangers’ rivals Celtic are also thought to be admirers of the 29-year-old, according to the Sunday Post.

Hladky was in brilliant form for St Mirren last season, making 38 appearances and keeping 10 clean sheets in the Scottish Premiership and 14 in all competitions.
However, the Czech stopper has now left the Buddies after his contract expired, and earlier this month he told the Scottish Sun of how he loves living in Glasgow.
Speaking about Hladky, Alex Rae told the Scottish Sun in March: “For me he’s at least 10 points of a difference because he is one of the stand-out goalkeepers in the division.”
Mirren goalkeeping coach Jamie Langfield also praised Hladky with a heartfelt message to him on Twitter in wake of his exit.
“You’ll be missed buddie,” he wrote. “One of the nicest persons I’ve ever met in football, also the BEST goalkeeper I’ve ever worked with in my whole career.”
With Alnwick now at St Mirren, some Rangers fans hope their former keeper effectively swaps places with the former Light Blues man at Ibrox (via their respective free transfers).
