'God we've missed him' - Leeds fans hail returning hero Patrick Bamford
Patrick Bamford played his first competitive match since August and scored the winner as Leeds United went top of the Championship.
After months out, Bamford returned to competitive action with a goal shortly after coming on as a substitute.
The 25-year-old netted a hat-trick for the under-23 side in the week as he continued his recovery.
But that feeling would have been trumped by notching the winner against a spirited Bolton Wanderers team.
Bamford finished off a swift, flowing counter-attack move by latching onto Pablo Hernandez’s pass and hitting a low ball in with his weaker right foot.

Kemar Roofe has been in red hot form this season but Bamford will now be eyeing his starting spot in the line-up.
And this is a positive selection headache for Marcelo Bielsa to have as he decides between two quality Championship strikers.
As Leeds reached the top of the league, and opened a six-point gap over third place, Bamford’s return is yet another boost.
Leeds fans were loving the ex-Chelsea man’s comeback and were delighted he capped his performance with a goal.
Below are what fans said on social media about Bamford.
Him being back could be like a new signing for us over Christmas. Get in!
