‘Go smash it’: Some Aston Villa fans react as ‘star in the making’ released in summer finds new club
A number of Aston Villa fans have wished Andre Green well and tipped him for success as he joined his first club since leaving the Villans in the summer.
The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Villa and made 48 competitive senior appearances for his boyhood club, registering two goals and an assist.

He made his debut in the 2015-16 campaign aged 17 and was a regular during the club’s time in the Championship, particularly in the promotion-winning 2018-19 campaign.
While on Villa’s books, Green also spent time on loan at Portsmouth, Preston and Charlton, his last outing coming in July for the Addicks against Leeds.
He left the club at the end of his contract last summer, and Sheffield Wednesday have now announced his signing on an 18-month deal.
Our new man will be squad number 1⃣6⃣

Here is what some Villa fans have made of the news:
Will be good for you. The lad has talent and sometimes lacks a little confidence but if he gets that confidence he’ll be a very good player for you
