Glasgow Rangers have announced that Zeb Jacobs will become the Ibrox academy’s new head of coaching in January.
The 26-year-old is joining Rangers from Royal Antwerp, who the Ibrox club faced in the Europa League last season.
Rangers have moved quickly to bring in numerous highly-rated coaches following Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox move.

Just last week, Rangers snapped up Dave Vos from Ajax, the tactician becoming assistant to Van Bronckhorst.
Jacobs’ imminent arrival is yet another coup for the Ibrox outfit as they look to the future.
He is recognised as being one of the brightest and most innovative young football educators in European football.
Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson told the club website: “I’ve enjoyed all of my conversations and interactions with Zeb in recent months and I am excited about what he will bring to Rangers.
“With Dave Vos joining our team last week, we have recruited two leading experts in talent development and that can only be good for what we are building here at Rangers.”
Although Beale left Rangers to join Steven Gerrard at Aston Villa in November, he’s very much keeping tabs on Ibrox developments.
And after Rangers announced Jacobs’ appointment, he took to Twitter to praise coach and club.
Rangers are building something truly exciting at Ibrox.
They remain top of the Scottish Premiership table, so 2022 could turn out to be another thrilling year at Ibrox.
