Leeds United and striker Patrick Bamford got off to the worst possible start to post-lockdown football, with the Whites losing 2-0 at Cardiff City.
Marcelo Bielsa’s man created chances within the game but, ultimately, failed to put any away as Neil Harris’ men picked up what was probably a deserved win in the end.
Those chances for Leeds fell to a few players, although Patrick Bamford was once again front and centre. He missed a couple of good ones himself, before blocking a goalbound effort from a teammate to compound his misery.
Leeds fans, then, have been reacting on Twitter to the performance of the former Chelsea striker.
Often a divisive figure, it seems to be the case once again between Whites supporters. On one side, you have those defending him, while others want their striker to simply score goals.
With that, here’s how Leeds fans reacted to the performance of Patrick Bamford against Cardiff today.

2 final Leeds observations:
With Hernandez missing, they are shite
Bielsa's belief in Bamford is baffling #alliteration

Leeds Facebook is a different breed. Someone on there slating Bamford for not creating his own chances now! Lord give me strength ???♂️

Couple of individual errors and a lot of bad luck, that sums up the Leeds performance today. Oddly it seems twitter is putting most of the blame on Bamford…Didn't see him playing crap balls in defence.

Classic Leeds fans today. Individual errors from Coops and Kalvin – yet Lat Bamford is the scapegoat. Get a grip people and watch the actual game. Honestly, you’re a disgrace.
