Liverpool romped to a 6-0 win over Blackburn Rovers as they continued their preparations for the Premier League restart next week and Reds fans have been reacting on Twitter.

The Reds were in no mood to mess about against their Lancashire neighbours. Just like their form in the top-flight, Jurgen Klopp’s men delivered an impressive attacking display with lethal finishing.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Naby Keita, Takumi Minamino, Joel Matip, and one apiece for the young duo Ki-Jana Hoever and Leighton Clarkson sealed a resounding result for the Reds.

While the result is nothing really to take note of, some of the performances from certain Liverpool players was.

Especially, it seems, the selection and subsequent performance of midfielder Keita. The former Leipzig man has struggled to cement a place in the team despite his mega-money move to the club.

But it appeared that Keita was in the mood to impress today, giving Jurgen Klopp something to think about ahead of the fixture with Everton in 10 days’ time. Indeed, some people on Twitter were claiming Keita put in a man of the match performance.
