Aston Villa are hopeful Jack Grealish will sign a new contract with the club amid interest from Manchester City.
According to the Telegraph, the Villains have offered the England international a new deal that will increase the captain’s basic wage from £100,000-a-week to £150,000.

Indeed, there is growing speculation that Grealish will leave Villa this summer. The Athletic report that City are readying a £100m bid for the 25-year-old winger. Pep Guardiola is keen to add the England star to his Premier League winning squad for next season.
Moreover, Villa have already shown their ambition this summer by signing Emi Buendia from Norwich City for a club-record fee.

The Athletic also report that Dean Smith’s side are interested in Emile Smith Rowe. The Birmingham-based club have already had two bids rejected for the playmaker.
Indeed, keeping hold of Grealish will be key for Villa this summer. Furthermore, fans on social media are hopeful that the attacker will sign a new deal with the club and commit his future to his boyhood team.
