Giovani Lo Celso has posted a clip of himself in action from a Tottenham Hotspur training session on Instagram, as Spurs fans eagerly await the Argentine playmaker’s debut following his move from Real Betis.
Lo Celso, 23, joined Spurs on deadline-day along with Ryan Sessegnon as Spurs doubled the amount of players they have signed in the past 18 months in one day. Lo Celso has joined on loan, with a £55million permanent clause.
Already an 18-time Argentina cap, the former Paris Saint-Germain star impressed for Real Betis last season – as he scored 16 goals from midfield as well as laying on six assists. He will provide competition for Christian Eriksen.
Lo Celso posted on Instagram on Monday, showing off a clip from Tottenham training as the Argentine looks to show Mauricio Pochettino that he is ready to make his debut against Manchester City on Saturday.

TBR’s view – Will Lo Celso make Tottenham debut v Man City?
Tottenham are thrown right in the deep end in just their second game, with a trip to the Etihad and Pochettino is likely to pick the players he trusts – especially after knocking City out of the Champions League last term.
Perhaps Saturday’s clash may come too early for Lo Celso, but the Argentine may be happy with a place on the bench for the north Londoners as Spurs look to put an early marker down with three points against Pep Guardiola’s side.
