Arsenal made it three wins from three last night and former midfielder, Gilberto Silva, believes both Bukayo Saka and Kieran Tierney are showing the way forward for the club.

The Gunners put in a superb display of attacking football to see off West Brom at the Hawthorns last night. Tierney got himself on the scoresheet, as did Saka, while the likes of Smith-Rowe, Lacazette, and Mari were all impressive too.
But taking to his Twitter account following the game, Silva, who had immense success in North London, picked out the duo of Tierney and Saka for special praise.
Saka was particularly impressive and seems to be getting better by the week under Mikel Arteta, although the Gunners boss has previously warned of overdoing the pressure on the England youngster.
Tierney, meanwhile, seemed in his element in cold and snowy conditions and looks every bit the top left-back the club believed they had signed from Celtic.
Arsenal’s winning run has moved them well clear of any danger and they may well now fancy their chances of a run at the European places.

Saka is exceptional while Tierney is just all around solid, dependable, and has sufficient quality to go with it. Both are doing fantastically well and even when things have gone bad, they’ve been shining lights for the Gunners.
It bodes well for both England and Scotland too to have two players of such high calibre playing well. So on that front, long may it continue.
