Gilberto Silva took to Twitter following Arsenal’s draw with Manchester United to bemoan the absence of Bukayo Saka.

The former midfield maestro thought the Gunners looked tired and missed the youthful exuberance of the Hale End graduate.

Saka joined Kieran Tierney in the treatment room, leaving Arsenal supporters hoping that it’s nothing too serious.

Silva did praise the defensive aspect of the game as Arsenal stood firm to thwart the attacking threat of United.

A goalless draw didn’t really do either team too many favours but the clean sheet will certainly please Mikel Arteta.

After the game, Gilberto took to Twitter to mention that he felt Saka’s absence was telling.

Saka has become a massive player for the Gunners since Arteta checked in at the Emirates Stadium.

The 19-year-old has already played 67 games for Arsenal and can operate in a number of positions.

So far this season he has played as a central midfielder, as a No.10, on both flanks and at left-back.

His energy is a big attribute to the way Arteta likes his teams to play and as a result, he’ll hope his injury isn’t serious.

Arsenal play Wolves tomorrow evening and go to Aston Villa on Saturday.

With the games coming thick and fast, Arteta will want Saka back as soon as possible as Arsenal chase down a European spot.
