Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has waxed lyrical about Reds forward Takumi Minamino ahead of Sunday’s trip to Burnley.
The 27-year-old joined Liverpool a little over two years ago from RB Salzburg for £7.25million.
Minamino’s time at Anfield has been mixed, however.

The Liverpool attacker has made 51 appearances under Klopp, but just 19 have been starts.
Admittedly, he was always going to struggle to break into a Liverpool side fighting for their first title in 30 years.
In addition, the global health crisis put a stop to football for several months not long after Minamino joined.
This difficult start meant he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter for Klopp.
And during the January transfer window, Minamino was linked with a move away from Anfield.
The Independent reported that Leeds expressed an interest in signing the Japan international.
And The Times claimed Liverpool valued Minamino at £20million.
“A lot of top developments”
But speaking ahead of the Reds’ trip to Turf Moor, Klopp insists Minamino remains on track at Anfield.
The German was discussing Liverpool’s depth after a victory over Leicester in which Minamino got a late run-out from the bench.
“I prefer to talk about a wider squad than a tiny squad,” The Mirror quotes Klopp as saying.
“It’s a situation we never had before. Now we have it available and they have played together for a while now.
“We have a lot of top developments, like Takumi Minamino – who is getting better every game.”
Minamino’s goal tally this season has been decent – seven from 20 games in all competitions.
Klopp described the player as a “long-term” project when he sent him on loan at Southampton last season.
