Arsenal fans have been quick to hijack Ben White’s tweet following the end of Euro 2020.
White was part of the England squad who were narrowly beaten by Italy on penalties in the final on Sunday evening.
The Brighton defender was keen to reflect on his experience on social media, but Arsenal supporters jumped on the tweet.
With Euro 2020 now over, White’s move to Arsenal could be imminent.
And Gunners fans were quick to encourage him to make the move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal’s big summer signing?
The Daily Mail have reported recently how Arsenal are confident of winning the race for White, despite outside interest.
The Gunners are prepared to commit £50 million to sign the 23-year-old.
White did not actually feature for England at the tournament, although he was included on Gareth Southgate’s side’s bench on occasion.
If White is to move to Arsenal it is widely expected that he will slot straight into Mikel Arteta’s starting line-up, given the size of the fee Arsenal are set to pay to sign him.
