Liverpool fans are keen to see Nicolo Barella signed after his role in helping Italy to the Euro 2020 final.

There have been reports in Inter Live that Liverpool are ready to pay big money for Barella, as they look to bring him in from Inter Milan.

And those rumours just appear to look more and more exciting, with Barella having such an impact at Euro 2020.

The Liverpool target once again played a starring role as his country knocked out Spain on penalties.

And Liverpool fans are now urging Jurgen Klopp and FSG to force through a deal.

Liverpool move likely?

Inter will surely be determined to keep Barella this summer given his influence on their team last season, but they are in financial difficulty, which means if Liverpool did make a sizeable offer they may find it difficult to turn down.

There is a gap available in Liverpool’s midfield too, as Georginio Wijnaldum has left them.

While Barella wouldn’t offer Liverpool as much defensively as Wijnaldum, he is a more creative influence and has better quality than the Dutchman in the final third.

Liverpool fans are set to have one more opportunity to see Barella at Euro 2020 in Sunday’s final.

Italy will find out whether they take on England or Denmark at Wembley later tonight, when the two sides meet in the semi-final.
