Some Newcastle United fans have waxed lyrical about Dylan Stephenson’s latest display for the Magpies Under-23s.
The 18-year-old has been in superb form for Newcastle u23s this season and has been tipped for first-team success.
Stephenson has seven goals from just eight Premier League 2 second-division appearances.

Stephenson has also featured in two Papa John’s Trophy matches this term.
On Monday night, Newcastle U23s were in PL2 second-division action against Wolves at Whitley Road.
The Magpies fell behind to Michael Agboola’s header just before the end of the first half.
Then, Harry Birtwistle’s close-range finish shortly after the restart doubled the visitors’ lead.
However, Newcastle bounced back as Charlie Wiggett quickly halved the deficit, turning in Jonjo Shelvey’s free-kick.

Then, Stephenson’s impressive finish levelled the Division Two encounter, and the Magpies looked capable of going on to get another and secure all three points.
This would’ve given Newcastle a fourth consecutive win in all competitions.
Sadly, the Tyneside outfit was dealt a heartbreaking late blow, Connor Carty netting for Wolves late on.
But despite the disappointing result, Newcastle fans were delighted with Stephenson’s latest efforts:
