‘Get him signed up’: Some Liverpool fans react to links with attacker who’s in big demand
Liverpool are being linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Pedro Neto – and some Reds fans on Twitter are over the moon with the transfer speculation.
90min reports that Liverpool have made contact with Premier League rivals Wolves about the 21-year-old.
It is understood that Juventus and Tottenham also made enquires, plus they have been inundated with interest.
The report explains Wolves owners would let him leave Molineux Stadium, but would need a “huge offer” to consider selling.
Neto, who’s currently sidelined through injury, is a rising star.
The Portuguese attacker scored five goals and made six assists last season, but missed the final month of the campaign with a knee injury.
It was stated at the time he could be out of action for at least six months, so Liverpool wouldn’t be signing him fully fit if they do step up their interest.
Liverpool fans would love Pedro Neto at Anfield
A selection of Liverpool supporters on social media are convinced Neto is perfect for them, albeit he’s currently unavailable through injury.
The left-footed speedster is such a threat operating from either wing with his pace, trickery and dribbling. However, he was occasionally used down the middle of the attack, too.
