Greg Docherty scored another eye-catching goal yesterday to send a message to Steven Gerrard.
The Rangers midfielder is spending the season on loan at Shrewsbury Town in League One and he has been in excellent form this season.
Docherty has played 18 games for Shrewsbury, establishing himself as a regular in central midfield for the League One side.
And with five goals to his name already this term, Docherty is proving that he can be a well-rounded midfielder.
Last night, the 22-year-old scored Shrewsbury’s second goal in a 3-1 FA Cup win over Salford City.
And it was a spectacular goal as he glided past challenges into the box, danced around a sliding challenge and slammed the ball home from a tight angle.

Rangers manager Gerrard now has a major decision to make in the January window.
Does he recall Docherty to bolster his midfield options or does he keep him out on loan?
On one hand, Rangers could do with reinforcements in midfield and Docherty’s form would have him competing for a starting spot.
But then again, Gerrard might want to keep Docherty out on loan – where he is playing every week – so that he returns next summer ready to step up at Ibrox.
When Lassana Coulibaly and Ovie Ejaria return to their parent clubs after their loan spells expire next summer, Docherty could slot in then.
