Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have made a loan offer for Arsenal starlet Reiss Nelson, according to a report by the Sun.
They report that Unai Emery is mulling the offer over – essentially deciding whether he needs Nelson at the Emirates Stadium this season.
Nelson’s close friend Jadon Sancho is out in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and Nelson spent last season there with Hoffenheim.
But midfielder Nelson told the Times last month that he wants to return to Arsenal and play this season, and has been impressing on the club’s pre-season tour of America.

He said: “Arsenal are my team and I want to go back to Arsenal and play. I am Arsenal through and through. I support Arsenal. All my family support them.
“That’s an interaction I have with the fans. It’s a good thing. They support a lot of the young talent coming up through Arsenal. It’s good.”
Emery has been keen to improve his wide options with Wilfried Zaha in the transfer market but he should be looking to find space for Nelson regardless.
He has a huge amount of talent and a mature head on his shoulders – this season could be a real breakthrough for the Englishman and he should be kept in north London like he wants.
