German journalist shares whether or not there’s any chance Bukayo Saka signs for Bayern Munich

Bukayo Saka leaving Arsenal is a doomsday scenario for many Gunners fans.

The winger is undoubtedly one of Arsenal’s best players, and he is perhaps the most beloved academy graduate to ever come through Hale End in recent times.

Saka is Arsenal through and through, but some concerning reports emerged this week suggesting that he could be on the move in the near future.

Indeed, Caught Offside reported this week that a whole host of top European clubs are keen on Saka, with Bayern Munich said to be one side in for the winger.

Speaking on the FC Bayern Insider Podcast, Christian Falk and Tobi Altschaffl have been discussing this rumour, and, luckily for Arsenal fans, they’ve played it down, claiming that Bayern’s reported interest in Saka is not true.

Bayern Munich interest in Bukayo Saka is not true

The two journalists spoke about Saka’s future.

“A new arrival could come from England. That’s what colleagues in the UK are saying. Bukayo Saka is apparently interested in a move to Bayern, true or not true?” Falk asked.

“That is not true. I know there are these reports. Caught Offside report that British and top European clubs are interested in the 22-year-old and that Bayern are said to have set their sights on him, but where does he play? Where does the money come from? Saka to Bayern, I can’t imagine it with the best will in the world,” Altschaffl said.

Bukayo Saka will stay at Arsenal

Saka to Bayern isn’t on the cards, and it’s hard to see the winger leaving Arsenal for any club.

Indeed, as a boyhood fan who is starring for the Gunners in a time where Arsenal finally look ready to challenge for major honours, there’s no better place for Saka to be right now.

Yes, he may have itchy feet about winning trophies, but at the age of just 22 in such a brilliant team, Saka has plenty of time to win titles at the Emirates.

It would be a serious shock if Saka were to leave Arsenal anytime soon.
