Gerard Deulofeu sends five-word message to Everton fan on Twitter

Gerard Deulofeu was reminiscing about his time at Everton with a supporter of the Toffees last night on Twitter.

The good ol’ days

Deulofeu was sent a video of the celebrations after he scored a free-kick against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

Everton went on to win that game, which took place in 2015, 2-1 – with Deulofeu playing a key role in the victory.

And the former Everton man enjoyed seeing the video on social media yesterday.

Where is Deulofeu now?

Deulofeu went on to spend a further two seasons at Everton, before departing.

The Spaniard never quite kicked on to fulfil his potential, after exciting every Toffees fan on his initial loan spell way back in 2013/14.

Since leaving Everton, Deulofeu has struggled to find a permanent home.

The winger has had spells in Spain, England and Italy, and currently plays for Udinese in Serie A.
