This summer saw a controversial transfer involving young English talent George Hirst. The Sheffield Wednesday star had been involved in a long and arduous contract standoff with the Owls, who wanted to keep the talented frontman tipped for England caps.
However, he left, in what proved to be a surprise move. He joined OH Leuven of Belgium. Of course, it has since become apparent that the deal looks like a precursor to a Leicester City switch. The Belgian second-tier side are managed by former Foxes boss Nigel Pearson and owned by the King Power group.
Hirst, therefore, looks odds-on to head to the King Power Stadium in the near future. Perhaps even as early as January.

He will no doubt be taking heart from seeing the development of James Maddison this season.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the talented youngster joined the Foxes on a £24 million five-year deal this summer from Norwich City.
He has not suffered from any transitional issues. His three goals and two assists in the Premier League helped the 21-year-old pick up a maiden England call-up recently and it is clear Leicester have big plans for his future.
If Hirst goes the same way, then Leicester have a top prospect on their hands should the 19-year-old make his expected switch to the East Midlands.
