After England cruised to victory in Montenegro last night, Gary Lineker excitedly compiled a list of promising talents on Twitter.
The ex-England striker named a host of young English starlets that fans can get very excited about in the future.
This included Callum Hudson-Odoi, Phil Foden, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Declan Rice, Jack Clarke and many others.
But Aston Villa fans noticed one name missed off that list: Jack Grealish. The Aston Villa star was a glaring omission in Lineker’s tweet.
The 23-year-old midfielder has recently returned from injury, scoring four goals and providing five assists to help the Villans reach the play-offs.

This included the winning goal in the Second City derby – after he was attacked by a fan earlier in the game – to see Aston Villa to a 1-0 win over Birmingham City.
And given the fact that Grealish was born and raised in Birmingham as a boyhood Villa fan, it meant even more to him.
Aston Villa fans are excited about the ex-England under-21 star’s future and let Lineker know that he should have been listed.
Here are some tweets from Aston Villa supporters in response to Lineker after Grealish was omitted from the list of young English starlets.
