Arsenal are laser-focused on ensuring they can finally end their wait to lift the Premier League title once again.
The Gunners matched a record for the most consecutive seasons finishing as runners-up in the division with three, only matched by Arsene Wenger, who achieved the same thing.
In the following season, the Frenchman sealed the Premier League title, with the current iteration of the Arsenal team hoping they can do the same thing.
Mikel Arteta has guided them to the top of the table so far, usurping Liverpool’s electric start, which has recently faltered.
With the Arsenal players starting to pick up some momentum, Gary Neville thinks he knows exactly what the topic of discussion is in the dressing room.

Gary Neville claims Arsenal players will believe they can win the title
Recent weeks couldn’t have gone much better for Arsenal in terms of results for them and their rivals.
A dramatic win over Newcastle was followed by a triumph against West Ham, two teams that have traditionally caused problems for the Gunners.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have slumped to two defeats on the bounce, ensuring that Arteta’s side have a one-point lead heading into the international break.
As a result, Gary Neville believes that the squad will have been talking in the dressing room about the title and their belief that they can win it.
He claimed on the Overlap: “Roy [Keane] said about expectation there on Arsenal in the last week because of people. I’m not quite sure at this stage that that will bring pressure to them.
“I think if they’re in that Arsenal dressing room now, I think even Mikel Arteta, their eyes should be wide open, saying, that prize is actually there now.
“I think for the first time, I reckon they actually might just sit in that dressing room and think, there’s a long way to go, but I actually think it’s ours this. And we’ve got to knuckle down and win.”
Given that Neville has been in the dressing room environment for Premier League-winning teams, it’s clear just how true that insight could be.

Mikel Arteta on upcoming Arsenal fixtures
Arsenal have already cleared some tough hurdles so far this season, getting matches against Newcastle, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool all out of the way.
Now, it seems as though the team have a clear run of fixtures to target in the Premier League, but it won’t be that simple.
Games against the likes of Fulham and Crystal Palace have proven difficult in recent seasons, and in some cases, costly to their title bid.
It’s why Arteta stated that his team have a base to work from when speaking after the win over West Ham.
He claimed: “We know how difficult those games are going to be, but we wanted to come here because we had some very difficult fixtures, playing some of the top teams, some of them away and with some big injuries as well.
“We had to adjust a lot of things with some players who were coming as well from big injuries and surgeries in the first few weeks of the season.
“So it’s been a challenge, but the team has been, I think, very convincing in performances and results, and it’s a good platform now to continue.”
With two weeks away from the football now coming up, Arteta will have to plot that route ahead.
